There are many reasons why Internet Explorer 6 is highly ostracized. Internet Explorer 6 is a web browser that is inexcusably slow. It would be understandable if Internet Explorer 6 possibly had some of the add-ons that other browsers have; but this particular browser unfortunately does not. These are just a mere fraction of what is heinously wrong with Internet Explorer 6. It’s disappointing to see such a monopolized company provide such a terrible browser to the people. If at least the speed of Internet Explorer 6 were up to par with the other web browsers out there it would make up for it a bit. Unfortunately this is not the case for Internet Explorer 6.

FireFox is a web browser that offers hundreds of thousands of add-ons. The add-ons for this browser range from a multitude of categories. In comparison to Internet Explorer which falls short without even the luxury of any of these add-ons, FireFox is a great alternate browser to turn to. Who would have known that such a commonly used web browser would flounder so thunderously? The add-ons that FireFox offers in which Internet Explorer is lacking would help you to tailor your browser to fit your needs. The add-ons FireFox provides are also convenient, easy to use, and visually appealing.

Who knew the day would come where you could not only get basic needs fulfilled from a web browser but also have it customized with features to benefit your daily desires. Surprisingly (or perhaps it isn’t) that dream fulfilling web browser will not be IE 6. The most the IE 6 offers is the ability to download general and critical updates for the browser itself. You can download from hundreds of different add-ons for the FireFox browser that allows you to receive alerts and updates. IE 6 would be a little bit more enticing if it had such a feature as well. The IE 6 is disconsolately just lacking in so many ways…

You can also download different themes to alter the aesthetic aspect of your web browser. There are additional toolbars you can download with more facets that can be adjoined to your browser. Supplementary categories include bookmarks, appearance, download management, feeds, news, blogging, language support, photos, music, videos, plugins, privacy and security, social networking, communication, tabs, web development, and many more. We all know how crucial it is to constantly be involved in many different social networks to be successful. To help you do this one of the add-ons is called ‘TwitterFox.’ This allocates you to be notified every time somebody such as your friend changes their status on Twitter. You don’t have to waste time physically going to Twitter.com to check everyone’s status. There is a similar add-on for Digg.com as well.

Did Internet Explorer 6 web designers get lazy because so much of the general population routed to using Internet Explorer 6? Wouldn’t it be common sense that people would start opting to other services who offer more? Why didn’t Internet Explorer 6 designers think of these precious little add-ons you can download that are completely free and easy to update in a matter of minutes. People in today’s world are always moving at high-speed therefore what they crave is speed. The primary flaw Microsoft has made for Internet Explorer 6 is its speed. There is absolutely no way around this blunder.

The internet security factor of Internet Explorer is so loose that it should make you uncomfortable. If you aren’t uncomfortable than this article should be sure to change that fact. Any of the other main stream browsers have a higher level of security than Internet Explorer. Due to the fact that Internet Explorer is from Microsoft you will need to install updates onto your computer fairly often. Many of these updates will pertain to internet security. Even with all of this Internet Explorer is still the weakest link. Who knew that Microsoft could be so inefficient?

Internet Explorer 6 is just plain outdated. Sadly, if you have anything further back from Windows XP then Microsoft will require you to resort to Internet Explorer 6. There isn’t even an option to use tabbed browsers for this specific browser. All other main stream browsers offer tabbed browsers as a basic necessity. Internet Explorer 6 is also incredibly vulnerable to hackers. You can’t even configure this web browser. Even Internet Explorer 7 allows you to make some configurations to the browser. Just the security factor alone should make you change your mind from continuing to use Internet Explorer 6. Why would you leave your computer to be so open to such malicious spyware?
